This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

All OCA insured people are invited to participate in teams of one or more, so long as there is at least one woman per team. If you plan to participate, you can speed up preregistration by sending an email to celia@drmath.ca with the following information: Names of people on your team (and whether they're OBC members), whether you're riding on a tandem or on separate bikes, your team name, your expected time (if known). If you want some inspiration for a team name, click here.

Sixteen riders rode tonight's time trial and 9 improved upon or tied their previous 2006 WTT best. The most improved of the lot were the kids. Nine year old (Bibit) Klara Bauermeister sprinted as hard for the finish as she had earlier spun over the overpass, taking 2:07 off of her previous time! Meanwhile, Ingrid Krausbar (PeeWee), who completed her 5th WTT 15km this year tonight while slicing a minute off of her previous 2006 best, celebrated by "off-roading it" after crossing the finish line. The PB's didn't stop with the kids, though. VCF riders Christa Ramonat and Jane Hammingh had all-time bests as did VAF Kathy Bradley and VBF Dianne Marleau. Meanwhile, Nicole, the fastest rider tonight, was only three seconds slower than her best Vet B time. You may see Nicole's fastest 15km time each year by clicking here. Finally, you may see the results of the 2006 WTT "Best Five 15km by Category" competition by clicking here.
